One of a Kind Prescott Christmas Cards Are Ready To Order.
They are 5″ x 7″ folding cards made from high quality card stock, professionally printed, with a gloss UV coating on the front, and writable matte finish on the inside. They are packaged in two types of sets, single design, and mixed designs. Please note: Card design numbers are at the TOP of the image.
The Single Design Set consists of 10 cards, all with the same design, your choice of inside copy, and 10 envelopes. One inside message per set.
The Mixed Design Set consists of 12 cards, 3 cards each of four designs of your choosing, your choice of inside copy, and 12 envelopes. One inside message per set.
If you would like to pick up the cards during one of the set pickup days and times in Prescott, Arizona, please let me know, and I will refund the shipping charge.

One of a Kind Prescott Christmas Cards Are Ready To Order.
These Holiday Cards are designed from photos taken in and around the greater Prescott area. They are 5″ x 7″ folding cards made from high quality card stock, professionally printed, with a gloss UV coating on the front, and writable matte finish on the inside. They are packaged in two types of sets, single design, and mixed designs. Please note: Card design numbers are at the TOP of the image.
The Single Design Set consists of 10 cards, all with the same design, your choice of inside copy, and 10 envelopes. One inside message per set.

Inside text of card # 50:
” This card is designed in recognition of the first civilization to settle in the Prescott area. They are the Yavapai people, whose name translates to “people of the sun”. Dating back to at least 1100 AD, the Yavapai occupied a vast territory of over nine million acres, ranging from the San Francisco Peaks in the north to the Gila and Salt Rivers in the south, and west to the Colorado River. They were expert hunter-gatherers, following seasonal migrations to gather plant foods like agave, saguaro fruits, and acorns, and to hunt game such as deer, rabbits, and quail. They lived in brush shelters called “Wa’m bu nya:va” or sought shelter in caves, adapting their housing to the seasons. The Yavapai women were renowned for their intricate basket weaving, some of which were woven so tightly they could carry water.
Thumb Butte’s history is rooted in its geological formation and its role as a landmark for both Indigenous peoples and early settlers. Known to the Yavapai as “Nymit-gi-yaka” or “Mountain Lion Lying Down,” it has served as a navigational aid for centuries. Anglo pioneers nicknamed it “the Sphinx” and recognized its significance in indicating the proximity to the new town of Prescott, a hub for gold miners and settlers in the 1860s.
