Owls – Great Horned Owl Chicks – Greeting Card

A few years ago, I had a chance to follow a Great Horned Owl nest. It was an amazing experience to see the bond between mother and chicks and how fast they grew. At this point, the chicks were spending most of their time alone in the nest. Mom stayed in a tree close by, keeping her eye out on them. They had just awakened from a little nap and looked down to see me there with the camera. The expression on that one little face seemed like it was saying, ” You better not mess with us, or my mom will get you ! ” Just too cute.
