Description
Unleash the power of Thumb Butte in Prescott, Arizona with these one of a kind handmade pendants. They are available in 2 shapes, 3 finishes, and a variety of sizes. All pendants include a 24″ chain in the same finish as the pendant. They are packaged individually in an anti tarnish jewelry storage PVC zipper lock bag, with an insert that carries information on the spirit animal. Made from lead and nickel free metal and epoxy resin. These are custom made items, please allow 7 to 10 business days for manufacturing. The pattern of the metal on the back may vary slightly, the manufacturer changes the designs from time to time.
Information included with the Thumb Butte pendants: Thumb Butte, at 6514 feet, is one of Prescott’s most prolific landmarks. Formed about 14.8 million years ago, it is a volcanic outcrop made up of latite – a volcanic rock with alkali feldspar, plagioclase, and a low volume of quartz. To the Yavapai People, Thumb Butte was Nymit-gi-yaka, “Mountain Lion Lying Down.” Pioneers called it “the Sphinx,” and wrote legends about its powers.
